Comparison points	Excellent - 4 There are (3) three clear comparison examples between the two people.	Good - 3 There are (2) two comparison examples between the two people.	Fair - 2 There is (1)one comparison example between the two people.	Poor - 1 Student has not provided any comparison examples between the two people.
Contrasting points	Excellent - 4 There are (3) three clear contrasting examples between the two people.	Good - 3 There are (2) two clear contrasting examples between the two people.	Fair - 2 There is (1) one clear contrasting example between the two people.	Poor - 1 Student has not provided any contrasting examples between the two people.
Essay Structure	Excellent - 4 Student has included an introduction, clear body paragraphs that reflect organizational style, and a conclusion in the essay. There is cohesion in the essay and all the points make sense.	Good - 3 Essay reflects an introduction, body paragraphs that somewhat reflect organizational style, and a conclusion. Cohesion is mostly present throughout the essay.	Fair - 2 Essay structure is difficult to understand. Little cohesion throughout the essay.	Poor - 1 There isn't any real form or format to this essay.
