Mythology News Podcast 6th Grade Podcast After studying Greek mythology and reading Homer's "The Iliad," students created a radioshow podcast set in ancient Greece. Students were required to incorporate a variety of topics as well as music and sound effects. Basic Demonstrates a good understanding of the chosen topic. Limited coverage of information and/or facts.	Limited Does not show understanding of the chosen topic.
Music/Sound Effects	Advanced Music/Sound is present, appropriate, and appealing. Intro/exit provide good signposts for listening. Attention grabbing and clever introduction.	Proficient Music/Audio is present with some creativity and appropriate for most listeners. Intro/exit material present but not effective.	Basic Music/Audio is present, but is not appropriate for the tone or content of the podcast. Intro/exit material is not present or does not engage viewer.	Limited No music/audio or intro/exit materials present.
Audio	Advanced Clean and without distraction or extraneous noise. Consistent volume level. Music/Audio faded behind voice. Excellent audio recording and editing.
