Content	Excellent Uses 3 examples per sense.	Good Uses 2 examples per sense.	OK Uses 1 example per sense.	Yikes! Student has incomplete thoughts; NO EXAMPLES
Grammar	Excellent There are 1-2 spelling or grammatical errors combined.	Good There are 3-4 spelling or grammatical errors combined.	OK There are 5-6 spelling or grammatical errors combined.	Yikes! There are 7+ spelling or grammatical errors combined.
Creativity	Excellent Each sentence is very creative and student clearly used imagination. 10+ sensory words	Good Most (4) sentences are creative and student clearly used imagination. Atleast 7 sensory words	OK Some (3) sentences are creative and student tried to use imagination. Atleast 5 sensory words	Yikes! One or two of the sentences are creative and student didn't really use imagination. Less than 4 sensory words
Neatness	Excellent Student obviously took his/her time to complete the assignment neatly.	Good Student clearly took his/her time to complete the assignment neatly, however, somewhat inconsistently.	OK Student didn't take time to complete the assignment neatly and it looks as though the student rushed to complete it.	Yikes! Assignment is very sloppy or illegible.
