Elements of a legend	Excellent My legend gives an exaggeration about an event or person here at Marquez. I have picked a person or an event that is important here and twisted a fact to make it into a fictional story.	Very Good My legend gives an exaggeration about an event or person here at Marquez and stays true to the real story.	Good My legend does not talk about a real person or event.	Needs Work This is not a legend because I do not exaggerate the quialities of a person or event here at Marquez.
Cause and Effect	Excellent My legend clearly shows many examples of how Marquez has been changed forever because of this person or event.	Very Good My legend clearly shows how Marquez has been changed forever because of this person or event.	Good My legend includes how the person or event changed Marquez, but it is not very clear. Writing Process	Excellent I have gone through all the steps for writing: Brainstorming, drafting, revising, editing and publishing and in addition, I conferenced and created more than one draft to make sure my story is detailed and exciting!
