Preparedness	Exceptional Student is completely prepared and has obviously rehearsed.	Good Student seems well prepared, but could have used more rehersals.	Adequate Somewhat prepare, but clear that rehearsal was lacking.	Fair Student doesn't seem to be prepared to present, not reheared and seems unknowledgable.	Poor Totally unprepared, unrehearsed, and seems to have no knowledge of content.
Posture/Eye Contact	Exceptional Has excellent eye contact and posture. Looks confident and does not need to read from slides.	Good Good eye contact and posture. Confident, but needs to use slides more than necessary.	Adequate Sometimes uses eye contact, leans, fidgets. Reads from slides entirely.	Fair Slouches, seldom looks up, fidgets. Reads from slides entirely.	Poor Never looks up, fidgets, slouches, reads from slides.
Enthusiasm	Exceptional Facial expressions and body language expresses interest in topic.	Good Facial expressions and body language sometimes generate interest.	Adequate Facial expressions and body language rarely communicate interst in topic.	Fair Facial expressions and body language don't communicate interest.	Poor No interest in topic.
Speaks clearly	Exceptional Speaks clearly an distinctly 100-95%. No mispronunciations, pauses or filler words.	Good Speaks clearly and distinctly 100-95%, but misprounces words, uses long pauses and filler words.	Adequate Speaks clearly and distinctly most of the time, but has many mispronunciations, pauses and filler words.	Fair Mumbles, can't be understood, frequent mispronunciations, pauses and filler words	Poor Is unable to effectivley communicate presentation to audience.
Volume	Exceptional Volume is appropriate, and can be heard by all.	Good Volume can be heard by most of the class.	Adequate Volume is too low to be heard by entire class.	Fair volume is too low and can't be heard by majority of the class.	Poor Volume is too low to be heard at all.
