Compare/Contrast Essay 
The purpose of this rubric is to allow the younger student to know what the expectations are for writing a comparing/contrasting essay. In preparation for this assignment, the student will have had instruction in the writing process, sentence structure, capitalization, end marks, read the book and viewed the movie.
