Conventions	Below Basic Autobiography has more than 10 spelling, punctuation, usage and/or incomplete sentences.	Basic Autobiography has no more than 6 spelling, punctuation, usage and/or incomplete sentences	Proficient Autobiography has no more than 4 spelling, punctuation, usage and/or incomplete sentences	Advanced Autobiography has no more than 2 spelling, punctuation, usage and/or incomplete sentences
Detail	Below Basic Event description is basic, with no detail or imagery	Basic Event description contains some detail, but misses the mark in creating a mental image	Proficient Event description contains detail and descriptive language	Advanced Event description contains rich descriptive language and detail, creating a vivid picture in the reader's mind
