Character Trait DESIGN IS SIMPLE BUT UNIQUE AND CONTAINS NECESSARY INFORMATION	Poor Information is not clear and difficult to understand	Fair Information given is what is required missing 1 or 2 bits of it.	Good All required information is given and spelled correctly.	Excellent Design of information is unique and looks good, spelling is correct and learner has gone above what is required for the design
Construction Learner must show understanding, effort and initiative for constructing badge	Poor Little to no effort shown. Learner copies and does not understand construction process.	Fair Minimal effort shown in construction. Understands process of construction but not completely.	Good Required effort and initiative applied to construction of badge. Learner understands process and is able to show understanding when constructing.	Excellent Effort in construction is above and beyond what is required. Learners can explain why certain processes are necessary because of understanding.
Presentation Final product presentation	Poor Final product is untidy and constructed very weakly.	Fair The final product shows the construction methods used but not enough effort put in ensuring good construction.	Good The final product meets the requirements given and product construction is done well	Excellent The learner has used construction methods going above and beyond what is required. Final design looks very good and is uniquely made.
