Compare/Contrast Essay 
The purpose of this rubric is to give students the expectations for writing a comparing/contrasting essay. The student will compare and contrast the of "Cinderella" and the South African story of "Natiki". In preparation for this assignment, the student will have had instruction in the writing process, sentence structure, capitalization, end marks, and read both stories.
