Class Participation, Group Work, and Social Skills Class Participation, Group Work, and Social Skills This rubric will be used to evaluate how a student works and participates during activities (work, class, meeting, assembly, etc.). I have purposely weighted each criteria this way as I believe this rubric will be fairer to the lower level students that are trying to participate rather than those that are largely unresponsive in class - Fair = 3 and Poor = 1 Rubric Code: WXWA5XW By mmesquirt Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Foreign Languages Type: (Other) Grade Levels: K-5, 6-8

Level of Engagement	Poor -DID NOT contribute to activity by offering ideas and asking questions..	Fair -contributed to activity by offering ideas and asking questions ONCE	Good -proactively contributed to activity by offering ideas and asking questions ONE to TWO times	Excellent -proactively contributed to activity by OFFERING ideas and ASKING questions MORE than TWICE
Responding	Poor Student NEVER RESPONDED to both the staff and peers questions, ideas and opinions.	Fair Student RARELY RESPONDED to both the staff and peers questions, ideas and opinions.	Good Student OFTEN RESPONDED to both the staff and peer's questions, ideas and opinions.	Excellent Student MOSTLY RESPONDED to both the staff and peer's questions, ideas and opinions.
