Student does not show understanding of the concepts in any of the assignments, or 2 of 3 assignments are complete but not to the best of the student's ability.

Most of the in-class assignments are completed to the best of the student's ability. The work shows that the student shows basic but not consistent understanding of the concept. Or 2 of 3 assignments are complete.
