Comic Strip Comic Strip This is a rubric grading the comic strip using Make Beliefs Comix or ReadWriteThink. http://www.makebeliefscomix.com/Comix/ http://www.readwritethink.org/files/resources/interactives/comic/ You must print off your comic and COLOR it. then you will cut it out and paste it to a piece of Construction paper. 	Excellent 12 pts	Average 6 pts	Poor 0 pts
Creativity	Excellent The comic has a great creative aspect to it. It is in color and done beautifully.	Average The comic has some creativity, but could have more. A little color or average job of coloring	Poor The comic strip has little or no creativity. No Color
Coinsides with the Play	Excellent The comic is an excellent example of students understanding of the play that was read.	Average The comic is an average example of students understanding of the play that was read.	Poor The comic is an poor example of students understanding of the play that was read.
Explaination of Comic	Excellent Student wrote a paragraph that explains each comic and how it pertains to the play.	Average Student wrote an average paragraph that half comic and how it pertains to the play.	Poor Student did not write a paragraph that does not explain the comic and how it pertains to the play.
Flow of Comic	Excellent Student showed great effort in explaining the beginning, middle, and end of the play.	Average Student showed about half of the effort in explaining the beginning, middle, and end of the play.	Poor Student did not show effort in explaining the beginning, middle, and end of the play.
