Organization	Excellent Extremely well organized. There was a logical format that was easy to follow. The writing flowed smoothly from one idea to another. The organization enhanced the effectiveness of the writing.	Good Presented in a thoughtful manner. There were signs of organization and most of the transitions were easy to follow. At times the ideas were unclear.	Fair Somewhat organized. ideas were not presented in a consistent order. Transitions were not always smooth, which at times distracted the reader.	Poor Choppy and confusing. The format was difficult to follow and the transitions of ideas were so disorganized they distracted the reader.

Creativity	Excellent Was extremely clever and presented with originality. The writing had a unique approach that truly enhanced the writing.	Good Writing was clever at times. It was thoughtfully and uniquely presented.	Fair Few original touches to enhance the writing, but did not use them throughout the piece.	Poor Little creativity used for this writing piece. It was bland, predictable, and lacked “zip”
