Student did not follow directions and rules. Student argued with classmates or teacher concerning the task. S/he did not assist other students.

Student followed directions and rules only 50% of the time. S/he occasionally argued with others concerning the task. Student was not able to assist other students.
Good Work

Student followed directions and rules for the majority of class. S/he did not argue with others concerning the task and when asked, assisted other students.
Exemplar

Student followed directions and rules for the entire class time. Student shared his/her creative ideas and encouraged other students.
Noise level

Needs Improvement

Many warnings were given to the student concerning noise level, buts/he did not make necessary corrections to his/her behaviour.
Getting there...

When warnings were given regarding noise level being too loud, student responded positively.
S/he was given two or more reminders.
Good Work

Student's noise level was acceptable for the most of the time. Only one warning was given concerning noise.

Student's noise level was not an issue. No warnings were given.
Student also reminded others to maintain acceptable volume.
Following Directions

Needs Improvement

Student was unable to follow directions due to being off task or unwillingness to work. Even when redirected, student did not follow directions.
Getting there...

Student followed the directions, but only minimally. Student did not consistently follow directions in order to understand the task and/or improve their performance.
Good Work

Student followed all directions. When confused, student respectfully asked for clarification.
Exemplar

Student followed all directions using a creative and thoughtful approach. When confused, student re-read the directions in order to understand the task.
