3rd Grade - Spelling/Grammar Sentences Grammar/Spelling Sentences Write 7 sentences choosing any of the weekly spelling words and the vocabulary words. The seven sentences must include 3 declarative sentences and 4 interrogative sentences. You may choose what type of sentence you would like to write for the vocabulary words. 	Novice Beginning to demostrate some understanding of the word's definition and how to write it in a complete sentence. 1 pts	Basic Demonstrates some understanding of the word's definition and how to write it in a simple complete sentence. 2 pts	Proficient Demonstrates a complete and accurate understanding of the word's definition and how to write it in a complex, detailed sentence. 3 pts
Types of Sentences Wrote 3 declarative sentences and 4 interrogative sentences.	Novice Student has a very limited or no understanding of sentences. fragments, declarative sentences, and interrogative sentences.
