Compare/Contrast Writing: Book to movie
The purpose of this rubric is to allow the student to know what the expectations are for writing a comparing/contrasting essay. The student will compare and contrast any two of the four artists we have studied this week: Diego Rivera, Andy Goldsworthy, Chuck Close, and Salvador Dali. Students will write three paragraphs: introductory, a differences paragraph, and a similarities paragraph. Students should use at least five new vocabulary words.
