Presentation Rubric
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Organization	Poor Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information.	Fair Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around.	Good Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow.	Excellent Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow. Students are engaged in learning.
Subject Knowledge	Poor Student does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about subject. Student is unfamiliar with scientific vocabulary.	Fair Student is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only basic questions. Limited scientific vocabulary was used.	Good Student demonstrates knowledge by answering questions and usually used proper scientific vocabulary (tension, pressure, compression).	Excellent Student demonstrates full knowledge by answering all class questions and used proper scientific vocabulary (tension, pressure, compression).
Bridge Structure	Poor Student's bridge did not meet project criteria. It is evident that the student struggled with design and materials.	Fair Student's bridge meets only some of the project criteria. It is evident that the student struggled with design and materials.	Good Student's bridge meets most of the project criteria by holding the required weight and having the correct measurements. Neat and pleasing to the eye.	Excellent Student's bridge meets the project criteria by holding the required weight and measuring the correct measurements. It is neat and pleasing to the eye.
Eye Contact	Poor Student reads all of report with no eye contact.	Fair Student occasionally uses eye contact, but still reads most of report.	Good Student maintains eye contact most of the time but frequently returns to notes.	Excellent Student maintains eye contact with audience, seldom returning to notes.
