Good

Student demonstrates knowledge by answering questions and usually used proper scientific vocabulary (tension, pressure, compression).
Excellent

Student demonstrates full knowledge by answering all class questions and used proper scientific vocabulary (tension, pressure, compression).
Bridge Structure

Poor

Student's bridge did not meet project criteria. It is evident that the student struggled with design and materials.

Student's bridge meets only some of the project criteria. It is evident that the student struggled with design and materials.

Student's bridge meets most of the project criteria by holding the required weight and having the correct measurements. Neat and pleasing to the eye.

Student's bridge meets the project criteria by holding the required weight and measuring the correct measurements. It is neat and pleasing to the eye.
Eye Contact

Student reads all of report with no eye contact.
Fair

Student occasionally uses eye contact, but still reads most of report.
Good

Student maintains eye contact most of the time but frequently returns to notes.
Excellent

Student maintains eye contact with audience, seldom returning to notes.
