Sound effects and Music 25 pts Your ability to creatively re-imagine the song chosen via scene selections, props, costumes, dance, acting, etc.	Excellent Introduction music, background music and/or ending music significantly adds to the movie clip and does not detract from the characters dialogue.	Good Introduction music, background music and/or ending music adds to the movie clip. One or two lines of dialogue are difficult to understand because of the music.	Satisfactory Introduction music, background music and/or ending music detracts from the movie clip. Many lines of dialogue are difficult to understand because of the music.	Poor Much of the music detracts from the movie clip and the viewers enjoyment. Most lines of dialogue are difficult to understand because of the music.
Grammar 25 pts Your ability to accurately memorize and reproduce the song lyrics.	Excellent Speakers use grammatically correct sentences: correct verb tenses, correct pronouns and correct word order.	Good Speakers use mostly grammatically correct sentences. There may be some minor errors with verb tenses, however pronouns are correct and word order is correct.	Satisfactory Speakers make many minor and some major grammar errors: there are problems with verb conjugations, pronouns and word order.	Poor Speakers do not use correct grammar, thus hindering the comprehension of the dialogue.
Pronunciation/Articulation 25 pts Your ability to correctly form words and sounds.	Excellent Excellent pronunciation. There are only three to five minor errors in pronunciation.	Good Good pronunciation. There are six to eight minor errors.	Satisfactory Fair pronunciation. There are six to eight minor errors, as well as three to five major errors.	Poor Poor pronunciation. There are more than eight minor errors, as well as more than five major errors.
Fluency 25 pts Your ability to keep pace with the song - not moving too fast or too slow.	Excellent Excellent fluency. Speech is natural, with no hesitations or unnecessary pauses.	Good Good fluency. Speech is natural, but there are one to two hesitations or unnecessary pauses.	Satisfactory Fair fluency. Speech seems somewhat forced AND/OR there are several unnatural hesitations or pauses.	Poor Poor fluency. Speech is forced AND/OR there are many unnatural hesitations of pauses.
