Compare/Contrast Writing: Countries Compare/Contrast Writing: Book to movie The purpose of this rubric is to allow the student to know what the expectations are for writing this comparing/contrasting paragraph. This rubric will help me, the teacher, to assess student writing and inform further instruction.The student will compare and contrast two countries finding similarities and differences. Good Writer makes 1-2 errors in grammar or spelling that distract the reader from the content.	Fair Writer makes 3-4 errors in grammar or spelling that distract the reader from the content.
