Facial Expressions	Poor There were few if no facial expressions. Present facial expressions did not match with mood or emotion. The face was blank.	Good Student used facial expressions and attempted to match the mood or emotion. They were expressive most of the time.	Excellent Different facial expressions were used, and they accurately portrayed the mood or emotion intended. Very expressive face.
Body Expressions	Poor Actor moved frequently when supposed to be frozen. Body positions did not help to tell the story.	Good There were minimal body movements. Most of the time the body matched the emotion/mood, and helped to tell the story. Sometimes the body position seemed out of place.	Excellent The body positions were expressive and helped to tell the story. They matched the mood/emotion of the character. Positions seemed to fit the moment.
Story Line	Poor The story is unclear.	Good Story is partially developed at a basic level.	Excellent Story is interesting to the audience and has all the story elements. Beginning, Middle, End, Problem, Solution.
Rehearsed	Poor The skit looks as if it was thrown together at the last minute. Student did not know what was going on.	Good Some rehearsal is evident, but student looks confused and is unsure of what is going on. Students has a general idea of their part.	Excellent Rehearsal is evident. The student knows what is happening, and has a good idea of their part.
Blocking	Poor The actor is not always seen clearly by the audience or is blocking another actor on stage. Use of levels is not evident.	Good The actor is seen most of the time by the audience and is somewhat aware of others on stage. Some use of levels.	Excellent The actor is always seen clearly by the audience and is involved with the other actors on stage. Excellent use of levels.
Effort	Poor Looks like no effort was put into the skit/presentation.	Good Effort is evident.	Excellent It is easy to tell that lots of effort was put into the skit.
