Script is memorized. Text holds to what is written. No prompting.
Actor can stay focussed and knows lines well enough to do an Italian run, a grotesque run, and reverse run with only very marginal flaws and no prompting
Good

Script is memorized, with only minor errors. Actor needs to call line occasionally when creative rehearsals take place.
Average

The script is mostly memorized, but not word for word. Occasional ad-libs. Only needs occasional prompting. Some paraphrasing. Some unscripted pauses to search for lines.
Fair

Needs a fair amount of prompting or ad-libs. Forces other actors to "save them" sometimes or move around in the script - - other actors must listen carefully and "track" them. Pauses often to find themselves.
Poor

Scene is not memorized. Frequent ad-libs. Using script or needs excessive prompting. Makes it very difficult for others to play their role or polish their own performances. Stunts growth of fellow actors.
