The ABCs of Russia 
Starting with letter A & continuing through Z, students will list 2 words per letter that relate to our study of Russia. They will define and/or describe the words. They will illustrate themselves, or provide a picture, of one of their words. These Alphabet pages will be assembled in booklet form, with an outside cover and an inside cover/title page.

Most pages are in good shape. They are neat, clean, unfolded and/or unwrinkled. Outer cover is in neat, presentable shape. Most of the content is ledgible.

Almost all pages are in tip-top condition. They are clean, ledgible, unfolded, unwrinkled. Outer cover is in excellent condition. Overall, the entire booklet is extremely neat in appearance.
Creativity

Student used no creativity or imagination in putting their booklet together. Work done entirely in pencil. No use of color. Booklet is too plain and basic.
Fair

Student used little, if any, creativity in their booklet. Most of the work was done in pencil or pen. Very little color, or other material, was used. Booklet is somewhat plain and basic.
Good

Student used a lot of creativity in creating their booklet. Various colors and materials were used throughout the booklet, including the cover.
Excellent

Student used creativity and imagination on all inner pages and on the cover. Many different colors and materials were used throughout the booklet and the finished product really stands out.
Illustrations

Student did not include pictures or illustrations with their words.
Fair

Student included pictures/illustrations for less than half of the words. The pictures/illustrations did not match up correctly with the words.
Good

Student included pictures/illustrations with almost all of their words. The pictures were neatly done and were appropriate for the word and/or term of their choice.
Excellent

Pictures and/or illustrations were included with all of the words/terms required. All of the pictures were very neatly done and very easy to associate with the particular word/term of choice.

There is a tremendous amount of educational content in the project. It is obvious that much time, thought, and effort went into the creation of the project and that the student gained much personal information.
