Let's Go Fly a Kite! Kazoon Kite Students will build and then fly a kite. Students will apply trigonometry to determine the heights or angles of their kites in real world and application situations. Rubric Code: RC84X9 By kemblem Draft Public Rubric Subject: Math Type: Project Grade Levels: 9-12

Kite Activity
	Poor 2 pts	Fair 4 pts	Good 6 pts
Structure	Poor Structure fell apart.	Fair Structure was a little flimsy.	Good Structure was built well.
Neatness	Poor Paper got torn putting it together and	Fair String was loose and paper was crinkled.	Good Tissue paper and straws were put together with out flaws.
Flight	Poor Could not get structure of the ground.	Fair Structure only flew when student ran around.	Good Structure had a perfect flight and stayed up.
