Excellent You did a good job, but only used two different sources.	Good This is good but next time put more effort into finding different sources to make your facts more credible. You only used one source.	Poor You used one source, but you did not find a relevant source. Make sure your sources relate to your topic.
Graphic Organizers 8 pts Gradong on the completion and the correctness of your KWL chart and web.	Superior Perfect! You have everything done correctly and filled out completely.	Excellent Very good! You had almost all of your graphic organizers filled out and accurately.	Good Good! You had some things in the wrong spots or forgot some things.	Poor You didn't take advantage of your graphic organizers. You didn't fill them out or they had major mistakes.
Introduction 4 pts Grading on your first paragraph and it's contents.	Superior Awesome job! Your introduction told everything discussed.	Excellent Good job! You had an introduction, just make sure you put all the requirements in with the correct amount of sentences.	Good You had an introduction paragraph, but it did not meet the requirements. Good Good job with the facts, but next time work on the editing a bit more.	Poor It was tough getting those facts down? Try for more next time.

Computer Integration 8 pts Learning how to get multi-media, change font and size and insert a picture are the important skills!	Superior Student worked indepentently in the computer lab to compose the sentences. He/she learned how to effectively bullet facts, change font/size of lettering and insert pictures into word processing.	Excellent Student worked somewhat independently in the computer lab to compose the sentences. He/she learned how to effectively bullet facts, change font/size of lettering and insert pictures into word processing.	Good Student needed some assistance in working independently in the computer lab to compose the sentences. He/she was inconsistent in applying bullet facts, changing font/size of lettering and inserting pictures into word processing.	Poor Student had great difficulty in following directions and learning the skills needed in computer lab to apply bullet facts, change font and size as well as insert pictures into word processing.
Oral Presentation 4 pts Focusing on voice, and eye contact for this part of the grade.	Superior You are quite the presenter! Great eye-contact, voice and confidence.	Excellent You really understood your animal! Remember to look at your audience and project your voice outward.	Good Feeling a bit shy? We will work on this area.	Poor It is really hard being in front of people. Hopefully next time you will stand up and try to present.

You included almost all of your sources, but forgot one.	Good You didn't site your sources the way we discussed in class or you only did a few and forgot the rest. You had 2-4 errors throughout your paper.	Good Good! Make sure you proof read your paper. You had 6-8 errors throughout your paper.	Poor Make sure you are reading what you write. You had 9+ errors in your paper.
