Presentation/Performance	No Production/unsatisfactory The broadcast was not complete.	Beginning Performance is not professional. There are numerous errors in broadcast.	Developing Performance attempts professionalism but comes across as immature or monotone.	Proficient Performance is professional and complete.	Advanced Performance is professional and creative. Skill and mastery of concepts beyond expectations.
Striking	No Production/unsatisfactory striking not done.	Beginning Striking was not completed. Some equipment pieces were left out.	Developing Stikring was done incorrectly.	Proficient Striking was completed.	Advanced Student striked his or her equipment and also helped others with their equipment

Facts are in correct order using top down perspective.	Advanced News style is correct, creative and effective. Facts are in correct order and are developed in a creative and entertaining way.
