Simulation Stations Peer teaching Simulation stations are created to allow general education students to “try on,” or empathize with, the kinds of difficulties encountered by students with various disabilities. In a group of 6 you will be responsible for the development of Simulation Stations, a circuit of activities to assist students to understand the specific challenges and adaptations for your assigned disability. The 2 Categories will be either Behavior and Cognition or Movement Adaptations. Simulation Stations
	Excellent 3 pts	Good 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Content	Excellent Content of the presentation was relevant, appropriate and important information for learning the material.	Good Most of the Content of the presentation included relevant, appropriate or important information.	Poor Some of the Content was not relevant, appropriate and important information.
Organization/Time Limit	Excellent There was an organized flow to the presentation. Concepts built upon one another. Presenter had everything needed for the presentation. Time was used well and effectively.	Good A little bit unorganized but you still got the points across. Had everything needed for the presentation.	Poor The information was presented in a confusing manner. The presenter was not prepared with everything needed for the presentation.
Creativity	Excellent Students went above and beyond to make their Project creative, student were engaged in the presenters lesson.	Good Project lacked overall creativity, however some parts were creative, students were engaged sometimes.	Poor Project was dry and students failed to be creative, student were not engaged.
Simulation	Excellent Presenters effectively created a simulation of the disability or situation that showed clearly what their peers could do in the same situation	Good Presenters created a fair simulation but did not cover all aspects of either the movement, cognitive or behavioral challenges.	Poor Minimal thought or effort appeared to be put into the choice of simulation. This group did not consider all the factors involved in the condition or how to effectively demonstrate it.
References	Excellent The project shows that the students checked their information with scholarly references and provided those for their peers	Good The project shows that the students spent some time looking at other sources.	Poor The project shows that the student spent very little time preparing for their presentation, which reflects in their overall project.
Handout	Excellent The handout supplied all the relevant information, the information is well documented and referenced correctly. This reference is something that classmates could refer to in the future.	Good Handout is complete but the information is referenced incorrectly. The handout has the minimum in terms of the information required.	Poor Handout is incomplete and not referenced
Adaptations	Excellent Adaptations given were correct and specific to the disability (s). You told us and showed us how to adapt in these situations. There were 5 adaptations given	Good Adaptations were good, and the team did a good job of presenting them. some adaptations were repetitive or not connected tot the disability	Poor Fewer than 5 adaptations were given and/or the quality of the adaptations did not take into account the situation or the individual
