Participation/ 8 slides If in a group - 1 point for participation and 1 point for 8 slides. If solo - 2 points for 8 slides.	Excellent Full group participation. 8 slides - including title and reference slide.	Proficient Almost full group participation. Missing title or reference slide. Missing 1 content slide.	Basic Partial group presentation. Missing title and reference slide. Missing more than one content slide.	Below Basic One person presentation - not all group members participated. Not enough slides. No title or reference slide.
Professionalism	Excellent -Good posture and eye contact. -Appropriate gesture and expression. -Language choice enhanced the effectiveness of the presentation. -Correct grammar and spelling.	Proficient -Good posture. -Frequent eye contact with the audience. -Spoke fairly clearly. -Correct grammar and spelling.	Basic -Intermittent good posture. -Occasional eye contact with the audience. -Language choice partially supported the effectiveness of the presentation. -Some incorrect grammar and spelling.	Below Basic -Poor posture. -Seldom eye contact with the audience. -Not enough or too much gesture and expression. -Language choice minimally supported the effectiveness of the presentation. -Occasional mistakes in grammar and spelling.
Content	Excellent Student described in detail about their findings. Students indicated what they have learned.	Proficient Student outlined their findings. Students partially showed what they have learned.	Basic Student did not outline there findings. Student misconceptions are still apparent.	Below Basic Students did not outline what they have learned. Students still sound confused on this topic.
Visual	Excellent Visual was well put together, creative, and added to the overall presentation. Presentation followed the 5 X 7 rule.	Proficient Visual was used and added to the overall presentation. Slides were a little dull OR do not follow the 5 x 7 rule.	Basic Visual was used but distracted from the overall presentation Slides were dull AND did not follow the 5 x 7 rule.	Below Basic Students read off the Smart board. Presentation was too wordy.
