Biography 
This rubric evaluates the student's biography. The students were asked to research a person or collect information for an autobiography on themselves. They will be asked to share their final presentation which includes a book flap review written on a peer's work that will allow students to preview them in our student library at a later date.

Biography Elements

Level 4

The student wrote hamburger paragraphs with detail and summarized the biography in clear form. The student wrote complete sentences with great detail. 18+ sentences.
Level 3

The student wrote hamburger paragraphs with detail and summarized the biography in clear form. The student wrote complete sentences with great detail. 15-18 sentences.
Level 2

The student uses hamburger paragraphs with little summarization details. He/she did write response sentences to the questions but needed more detail. 1-10 sentences.
Level 1

The student does not use hamburger paragraphs. Inaccurate information and incomplete sentences were provided with no editing. 1-10 sentences for the report.
Computer Integration

Level 4

Student worked indepentently in the computer lab to compose the sentences. He/she learned how to effectively bullet facts, change font/size of lettering and insert pictures into word processing.

Student worked somewhat independently in the computer lab to compose the sentences. He/she learned how to effectively bullet facts, change font/size of lettering and insert pictures into word processing.
Level 2

Student needed a lot of assistance when composing sentences in the computer lab.
Level 1

Student had great difficulty in following directions and learning the skills needed in the computer lab to navigate through word processing.
