Identifying Information	Exceeds Proficiency Correctly identifies whether the student in the case study is eligible under IDEA, 504 or neither and explains why in detail, using facts from the text, and lectures in class.	Proficient Correctly identifies whether the student in the case study is eligible under IDEA, 504 or neither, but fails to explain why.	Not Proficient Incorrectly answers what the student in the case study is eligible under, or provides no response.
Description of Accomodations	Exceeds Proficiency Provides at least three accommodations, adaptations or modifications for the student.	Proficient Provides two accommodations, adaptations or modifications for the student.	Not Proficient Provides 1 or fewer accommodations, adaptations or modifications for the student.
Critical Thinking	Exceeds Proficiency Provides at least three accommodations for the student that are congruent with the students needs, and would be appropriate for creating the least restrictive environment.	Proficient Accommodations are moderately appropriate for the students needs and may or may not be relevant to creating the least restrictive environment.	Not Proficient Accommodations are not congruent with the students needs and would not be appropriate for the student.
