Psychological Disorder Presentation Brain Disorder Project Students will choose and research a psychological disorder. Students will use information from research to create a technology-based visual presentation which will be presented to the class. Information required on your presentation includes: --Name of disorder/mental illness --An explanation of disorder/mental illness --Any observable signs/symptoms of disorder/mental illness --Any known person with disorder/mental illness --An explanation of treatment for disorder/mental illness. Content & Development	Apprentice - Content is incomplete. - Talking points are not clear and/or informative. - No or little research done. - Content shows no clarity of thought. - Not interesting to view/read.	Proficient - Content is not comprehensive and/or informative. - Talking points are addressed, but not well supported. - Research is inadequate. - Content shows some clarity of thought. - Somewhat interesting to view/read.	Distinguished - Content is comprehensive, accurate, informative. - Talking points are stated clearly. - Research is adequate. - Content and purpose are clear. - Interesting to view/read.
Grammar & Vocabulary	Apprentice - Contains numerous grammatical errors. - Range of vocabulary extremely limited.	Proficient - Contains few grammatical errors. - Vocabulary accurate but may be somewhat limited.	Distinguished - Few or no significant errors. - Rules of grammar and vocabulary usage followed. - Vocabulary is clear and appropriate for content.
Time Management	Apprentice - Time given in class not used for research and/or presentation creation. - Did not give or gave but not prepared for presentation at due date.	Proficient - Time given in class partially used for research and/or presentation creation. - Gave presentation at due date, but not prepared.	Distinguished - Time given in class appropriately used for research and/or presentation creation. - Prepared for and gave presentation on due date.
Required Elements	Apprentice - Included only 1-2 required elements.	Proficient - Included 3-4 required elements.	Distinguished - Included all required elements.
