The presentation was much less than 10 minutes long, and/or the topic was not explained/described or supported by details/examples.

The presentation was about 10 minutes long, but the topic may not have been adequately explained/described and supported by valid details/examples.
Good

The presentation was about 10 minutes long, and the topic was adequately explained/described and supported by valid details/examples.
Excellent

The presentation was about 10 minutes long, and the topic was thoroughly explained/described and supported by valid details/examples from credible sources.
Appropriate Style/Tone

Poor

The presentation did not give background information nor did it adequately explain/describe the topic. There was no reflective style/tone in the conclusion.
Fair

The presentation may not have provided complete background information, or it may not have adequately explained/described the topic.
There was some apparent reflective style/tone, but it was not sufficient.
Good

The presentation provided adequate background for the topic and explained/described it sufficiently. It also concluded with a reflective style/tone in which the student related what he or she learned from completing the assignment.
Excellent

The presentation provided good background and explained/described the topic in exceptional detail. It also concluded with a reflective style/tone in which the student related what he or she learned from completing this assignment.
