Marketing Poster and Presentation Rubric 
Students will create a poster designed to market a production of a play script recently read. The poster will contain information relevant to advertising the musical. Students will provide a creative and colorful poster designed online. The poster should address the following questions:

The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner. There are no errors in spelling or grammar.

The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation. There is one or less error in spelling or grammar.
Needs Improvement

Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed. There are two or less errors in spelling or grammar.
Failing

Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete. There are three or more errors in spelling or grammar.

Eye catching. Great use of colors, texture, shapes, and spacing on poster. Artwork is the students own & is neat. Writing is easy to read. Shows the student can express ideas through art.

Contains students own writing and drawing. Lots of colors, shapes, and appealing design. Shows the student spent time creating and designing the poster.
Needs Improvement

Not very appealing. Limited use of creative materials. Not alot of color/shapes/design. Most of the artwork is the student's own.

Lacks original artwork. Does not make good use of space on the poster. Messy. Lacks color.

Poster is of original, exceptional quality and clearly shows the mood, themes, and/or subject matter of the play.
Proficient

Poster is of original quality and clearly shows the mood, themes, and/or subject matter of the play.
