13 Colonies Lyrics/Script 13 Colonies Storybook This is a rubric for a project where student(s) will create a lyrics for a song or a script for a play about one region of the original British colonies. The lyrics/script need to tell about the development of the colonies in the selected region. It needs to include political, economic, and social characteristics. Some facts are inaccurate. There is not enough information presented and won't educate listeners/viewers.	Good Lyrics/script includes accurate historical information; however, it is very general and lacks detail. It may be educational and interesting enough to listeners/viewers.	Exceeds The lyrics/script includes all historical information relevant to the topic. The lyrics/script includes detailed facts about their region. It's very interesting and educational.
Work quality/effort	Poor Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.	Fair Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.	Good The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this lyrics/script.	Exceeds The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by this group/individual.
