Teacher's Aide
Teacher's aides work during 1 class periods for an assigned teacher(s) for a semester, receiving 5 credits upon successful completion of the semester. The grade a student receives will be dependent upon the quality and quantity of the work the student completes.

Student attends between 0 and 75 percent of the time (this includes school excused absences due to the work like nature of the position).

Student attends 80 - 94 percent of the time and meets all of the requirements from the categories listed above.
Excellent
Student is in attendance 95% or more of the time (regardless of the reason).
Professionalism
Unacceptable
Student engages in off - task behavior with other students, engages in horse play, or engages in seemingly violent encounters.
Needs Improvement
Student is frequently playing on their phone or digital device, not staying on target with note taking or class assignments. Student makes jokes with the class or focuses on non-academic activities to the exclusion of their assigned duties.
Satisfactory
Student completes all work, checks in with the teacher to follow up on previous assignments, and uses any remaining time in class for reading or completing classwork for another subject.
Excellent
Student is verbally pleasant, completes all work, checks in with the teacher to follow up on previous assignments, uses any remaining time in class for reading or completing classwork for another subject, or suggests additional tasks that might be completed to the teacher's benefit.
