	Excellent 12 pts	Good 9 pts	Fair 6 pts	Poor 3 pts
Word Choice	Excellent I thought about every word I wrote to make sure it was a WOW word.	Good I tried on most of the words to make them WOW words.	Fair I have one WOW word in my poem.	Poor I didn't change any of my words to make them WOW words.
Rhyming	Excellent Lines 1,2, & 5 rhyme. Also, Lines 3 and 4 rhyme.	Good I didn't put a rhyming word in one of my lines.	Fair I didn't rhyme in two or more places.	Poor I didn't try to rhyme.
Presentation	Excellent My final copy shows my very best work.	Good My final copy is okay, but not my best work.	Fair My final copy is sloppy.	Poor My final copy is not colored.
