Changes to Standardized Testing Poster Rubric This rubric will be used to grade student's posters. We will use this as a general template. Rubric Code: K84238 By fmcgregor Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Social Sciences Type: Project Grade Levels: 6-8

Title	Level 1 A title is missing.	Level 2 A title is present, but it may not be easy for the reader to determine what information will be presented.	Level 3 A title is included. The reader can understand what information will be in the poster.	Level 4 A title is included. It is very clear from the title what information will be presented in the poster. The title is creative and interesting.
Changes to testing	Level 1 The poster contains few if any of the changes to standardized testing.	Level 2 The poster contains some of the changes to standardized testing.	Level 3 The poster contains most of the changes to standardized testing.	Level 4 The poster contains all the changes to standardized testing.
Pictures	Level 1 Student has included no picturesor has chosen ones that do not help the reader understand the material.	Level 2 Student has included only one picture to help the reader understand.	Level 3 Student has included two pictures to help the reader understand the material.	Level 4 Student has included several pictures to help the reader understand the material.
Overall Appearance	Level 1 The poster has no color, is not neat at all, and is poorly organized, making it difficult to understand the material, or the student has not completed the poster.	Level 2 The poster has some color. It needs to be neater and better organized. It takes quite a bit of effort to understand the material.	Level 3 The poster is somewhat colorful, neat, and organized. The reader can understand the information with some effort.	Level 4 The poster is colorful, neat, and well organized. It is very easy to read and understand. Information is easily located.
Conventions	Level 1 There are so many errros in spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and grammar making it extremely difficult to understand	Level 2 There are many errors in spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and grammar making comprehension difficult.	Level 3 There are some errors in spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and grammar.	Level 4 There are very few errors in spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and grammar.
