Class Participation

Attendance	1 Student is tardy.	2 Student is present but not ready to start work or participate when bell rings.	3 Student is present and working and/or participating when class bell rings.
Respect	1 Student interrupts others several times. Displays poor listening skills.	2 Student rarely interrupts others. Displays good listening skills most of the time.	3 Student never interrupts others. Displays excellent listenings at all times.
Cleanup	1 Student does not clean up his/her area. Classroom supplies were not returned after use.	2 Student cleans up his area the majority of the time. *Classroom supplies are returned.	3 Student always cleans up his area the majority of the time. *Classroom supplies are neatly returned.
Active Learner	1 Student rarely takes an active role in their own learning. Student does not participate and rarely shares ideas or asks questions. Disengaged from class.	2 Student sometimes takes an active role in learning. Shares relevant ideas and appropriate questions. May need ocassional reminders to stay on task and complete work.	3 Always takes a voluntary thoughtful active role in their own learning. Challenges themselves daily. Demonstrates a genuine desire to learn and share.
