Presentation Rubric
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Content	Poor Gives title, author, but lacks details.	Fair Tells a little about a character or event; rates the book (good, boring) with no explanation.	Good Describs events and characters. Gives an opinion of content.	Excellent Discusses main ideas, theme, plot and characters; supports opinios with evidence from the story.
Organization	Poor Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information.	Fair Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around.	Good Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow.	Excellent Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow.
Subject Knowledge	Poor Student does not have a firm grasp of their project; student cannot answer questions about the project.	Fair Student is uncomfortable with their project and is able to answer only rudimentary questions.	Good Student is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate.	Excellent Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration.
Voice	Poor Audience has trouble hearing and/or understanding.	Fair Speaks clearly and audibly some of the time.	Good Speaks clearly and audibly most of the time.	Excellent Speaks clearly and audibly all of the time.
Stance	Poor No eye contact; constant fidgeting.	Fair Rarely makes eye contact; fidgeting distracts audience.	Good Stands erect and makes eye contact most of the time.	Excellent Stands erect; maintains eye contact with audience.
Visuals/ Media	Poor Student uses superfluous visuals/ media or none at all.	Fair Student uses some visuals/ media that only partly support the presentation.	Good Student's visuals/ media relate to text and presentation.	Excellent Student's visuals/ media support and enhance text and presentation.
