Preparation	Proficient Student was PREPARED for class with assignments and suggested class materials and homework.	Good Student was MOSTLY prepared for class with assignments and suggested class materials and homework.	Fair Student was MOSTLY NOT prepared for class with assignments and suggested class materials and homework.	Poor Student was NOT PREPARED for class with assignments and suggested class materials and homework.
Productivity/On-task	Proficient Student was ON-TASK and worked PRODUCTIVELY. Completed their task at hand and made progress on their assignments.	Good Student was MOSTLY on-task and worked productively. Almost completed their task, made slight progress on their assignments.	Fair Student was MOSTLY off-task and UNPRODUCTIVE. Did not complete task, made only a small amount of progress on their assignment.	Poor Student was NOT on-task nor productive. Did not complete task and made no progress on the assignment.
Level of Engagement	Proficient Student proactively contributed to class by OFFERING ideas and ASKING questions MORE than TWICE during class.	Good Student proactively contributed to class by offering ideas and asking questions ONE to TWO times during class.	Fair Student contributed to class by offering ideas and asking questions ONCE during class.	Poor Student DID NOT contribute to class by offering ideas and asking questions..
Responding	Proficient Student MOSTLY RESPONDED to both the teachers and students' questions, ideas and opinions.	Good Student OFTEN RESPONDED to both the teachers and students' questions, ideas and opinions.	Fair Student RARELY RESPONDED to both the teachers and students' questions, ideas and opinions.	Poor Student NEVER RESPONDED to both the teachers and students' questions, ideas and opinions.
Behavior	Proficient Student SHOWED responsibility and respect and did NOT display disruptive behavior during class.	Good Student MOSTLY showed responsibility and respect and RARELY displayed disruptive behavior during class.	Fair Student OCCASIONALLY showed responsibility and respect and OCCASIONALLY displayed disruptive behavior during class.	Poor Student DID NOT show responsibility and respect during class.
