Content

Needs Improvement

Lots of white empty space on the graphic organizer. Huge fonts doesn't make it informative. Some really important ideas are missing or non-factual.
Lacking in content specific vocabulary or key ideas
Good

Graphic organizer includes the most important terms and concepts; but there is room for some further important detail. Basics are present but not much beyond. Add details and/or expand ideas.
Great

Work contains good quality and quantity of information; Used content specific vocabulary; work reflects in-depth comprehension of the main idea; evidence of learning is apparent in quantity and/or quality of information presented.
Organization

Needs Improvement

The theme of the graphic organizer and relationships between ideas are not clearly evident because words just seem to be randomly written or placed
Good

Some attempt is evident to organize terms and ideas spatially and conceptually;
some parts may be lacking, unclear, or incorrect. Could add more sections or expand on big ideas.
Some ideas would be better in other places.
Great

Graphic organizer visually separates/connects ideas by types, levels, etc. "Chunked" info insightfully and reflects comprehension. Big ideas are dissected and small ideas are unified conceptually and accurately
Utility

Needs Improvement

Work reflects a lack of personal investment and respect for the reader who is unable to learn from this graphic. May have read about some information but didn't do anything with the content.
Good

This might be used for studying or taking a test if it had just a little more info or was a bit better organized. Not super functional but it does suggest grasp of the main ideas and ability to classify the info.
Great

Work enhances the reader's understanding of the subject.
Making this graphic was a valuable learning experience.
Composition

Needs Improvement

Lack of information or supporting ideas suggests poor comprehension or effort.
Good

Some ideas are not clear because of poor communication
A good rough draft
Great

Your work is neatly written and the composition is very good Made very effective use of time and space.
