Answers Essential Question	Poor The Popplet does not answer the essential question. The work does not show understanding of what has been discussed in class or through the books and activities.	Fair The Popplet somewhat answers the essential question. Understanding of the unit is questionable. Some of the information on the Popplet do not relate to the essential question.	Good The Popplet completely answers the essential question. Understanding of the unit is clear through the information posted on the Popplet.
Facts	Poor Student did not include any relevant facts about the essential question.	Fair Student included 1-3 facts that centered on the essential question.	Good Student included 4 or more facts that centered on the essential question.
Presentation	Poor The Popplet was not created neatly. The Popplet had many spelling and grammatical errors. Colors and graphics were not overly used.	Fair The Popplet was created somewhat neatly, but was a bit hard to follow. The Popplet had more than two major spelling and/or grammatical errors.
