Bible 8 Children's Book Bible 9/10 Children's Book Using the names of God, students will design a children's book to teach young children about the names of God. Rubric Code: G4BBBC By glowrey Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: (General) Type: Project Grade Levels: 6-8

Children's Book
	Poor 15 pts	Fair 20 pts	Good 25 pts
8 Names of God The story needs to include the 8 names of God.	Poor The 8 names ares not included in the story.	Fair The 8 names are included but are not expanded on with very much detail.	Good The 8 names are clearly seen and are given major priority in the story.
Biblical Tie In There needs to be a clear Biblical tie in of the names of God based on what we have talked about in class.	Poor There is no Biblical tie in to the story.	Fair There is a vague Biblical tie in but it is never explained.	Good There is a clear tie in and is expanded upon.
Illustration The book needs to be illustrated to the best of one's ability.	Poor There is not some sort of illustration on every page and appears to be done in a lazy manner.	Fair There are illustrations on every page, but they are not fully colored or sloppily done.	Good There are illustrations on every page and good detail has been put into every picture. It is clear there was a lot of time spent on the artwork.
Presentation The student will read the story out loud to the class.	Poor Presentation was sloppy and appeared to be done at the last minute.	Fair Student was prepared, but the presentation was lacking in detail/polish and did not appear at the same caliber as a "good" presentation.	Good Student was well prepared and presented a thorough and detailed presentation that was able to hold the attention of the students.
