What are danger signs? What are things that you can eat?
Why should you brush your teeth?
Students create graphic organizers about danger signs or apply information by labeling foods to eat or to not eat. NYS Learning Standards for Health, Standard 2: A Safe and Healthy Environment; Grade 8 Science AGLI 12103 – reognize a safety hazard associated with a scientific investigation; Grade 8 Science AGLI 23107 - recognize one or more components for an organism to maintain health.

Work is completed, but writing is somewhat illegible, coloring does cover pictures, but one can see what they are labeling. The work is 70%-84% correct.

Work is sloppy and/or incomplete. One cannot decipher what the purpose of the task is due to the product. The work is 0%-69% correct.
