Student did not supply any defense mechanism.

Results in a Level 0 for "Defense Mechanism 2" criteria as well.
Level 1

Student depicts a character in the conflict/scenario who exhibits one of the discussed Defense Mechanisms.

BUT, the use of the mechanism does not match the type of mechanism intended by the student.
Level 2

Student depicts a character in the conflict/scenario who exhibits one of the discussed Defense Mechanisms.

AND the use of the mechanism matches the type of mechanism intended by the student.
Level 3

Student depicts a character in the conflict/scenario who exhibits one of the discussed Defense Mechanisms.

The use of the mechanism matches the type of mechanism intended by the student.
AND at least one peer was able to identify the mechanism correctly.
Defense Mechanism 2

Level 0

Student did not supply a second mechanism.
Level 1

Student depicts a character in the conflict/scenario who exhibits one of the discussed Defense Mechanisms.

BUT, the use of the mechanism does not match the type of mechanism intended by the student.
Level 2

Student depicts a character in the conflict/scenario who exhibits one of the discussed Defense Mechanisms.

AND the use of the mechanism matches the type of mechanism intended by the student.
Level 3

Student depicts a character in the conflict/scenario who exhibits one of the discussed Defense Mechanisms.

The use of the mechanism matches the type of mechanism intended by the student.
AND at least one peer was able to identify the mechanism correctly.

Utilized the opportunity to submit a plan or draft for revision.
Peer Review

Level 0

Student did not supply a peer review
Level 1

Student provided a peer review to at least one other classmate

BUT at least one (1) of their guesses did not match the defense mechanism depicted.

** IF the depiction of the defense mechanism/s does/do not match the creator's intended mechanism/s, the Peer Review Student will NOT be penalized for guessing a defense mechanism correctly based on depiction.
Level 2

Student provided a peer review to at least one other classmate

AND both of their guesses matched the depicted mechanisms.
Level 3

Student provided a CORRECT peer review to more than one classmate.
