PROJECT DIFFICULT WORD DICTIONARY My Personal Dictionary Select at least 15 of the words from your word wall. Make an alphabetical list as a "Table of Contents" then use one page for each word. Please include the part of speech, definition, example sentence, and an illustration. 	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Vocabulary Word	Good Selected words were appropriate level of difficulty and there were at least 15 listed and/or NO misspellings.	Fair There were at least 10 difficult words listed and/or less than 2 misspellings.	Poor There were less than 10 difficult words used and/or more than 2 misspellings.
Part of Speech	Good Parts of speech were given and were correct for all of the words.	Fair Parts of speech were given and correct for 12 - 15 of the words.	Poor Parts of speech either were missing and/or were incorrect.
Vocabulary Definition	Good The correct dictionary definition was given.	Fair A definition of the vocabulary word is written incompletely or incorrectly	Poor The definition of the vocabulary word is not included on the page or is incorrect.
Example Sentence	Good One or more example sentences using the vocabulary word correctly are given; each demonstrate effort and thoughtfulness.	Fair One example sentence using the vocabulary word is given, but does not demonstrate thoughtfulness or effort.	Poor Example sentences are not provided on the page
Illustration	Good Picture is relevant to the examples and given definition of the vocabulary word. Color and details are included.	Fair Picture is relevant to the sentence or definition. Little attention to color or detail is demonstrated.	Poor Picture is not relevant to the sentence or definition. No color is used.
Effort/Neatness	Good All pages show attention to detail and effort to turn in quality work.	Fair Recognizes some attempts were made to turn in quality work, but not all pages completed with same quality.	Poor Attempts to turn in quality work is not evident.
Punctuality	Good Project was completed on or before the date it was due.	Fair Project was completed one day late.	Poor Project was completed more than one day late.
