These pups have exemplary house manners and do not need support to make great choices. Good choices are their middle name.

Pup still needs to be monitored or watch but will make good choices with some reminders and direction

Basic

Pup needs to be watched constantly and may look for opportunities to "get away" with poor choices. Still needs a lot of support.

Primal

Pup has little regard for rules and acts impulsively to their own benefit. May be the result of age or lack of training. These pups may be at this level due to being managed in these situations, rather then taught.

Pup can be in a kitchen area of the house, and reliable stay off counters, out of trash.

Pup can be left unattended in a kitchen area with no attempt on their part to sniff or lick any food area. Pup chooses to be with human or to settle quietly in an area.
Good dog

Pup can be left in a kitchen area with very little attempt on their part to sniff or look toward any food area. Pup can be directed away quickly and will happily be with human or to stay quietly in an area. Still needs some support and reinforcement.
Basic

Pup is in the beginning stages of learning what is expected in a kitchen area. With direction a pup will stay away for the food area but needs a lot of support and direction. Pup sometimes chooses to be with human but can get distracted or drawn into poor choices

Pup has little regard for human expectations in the kitchen and when food is available will make attempts to get it. Pup may jump on counters or human for attention or bark. Impulsive and driven to satisfy their own desires.
Living or TV Room

Pup can settle calmly in a sitting area with limited attention.

Pup can settle in a room with others with some direction, such as "Place" or a down stay. Pup often chooses to be with human but may need help to settle quietly in an area or may need a high value toy or bone. Pups do sometime need to be given support or attention.

Pup is beginning to learn to settle in a room with others but needs quite a bit of direction, such as "Place", a bone or a down stay. Pup still has quite a bit of interest in exploring or looking for other things to do so raiser still needs to be "present" to reward and build on this. Pups do need a lot of support or attention.
Primal

Pup has little ability or desire to settle in a room with others. Pup often chooses to explore other areas of the house or to try to engage other people or dogs into their games. A high value toy or bone may work for a short period of time, but is quick to move on. Pup may jump on couches or humans for attention or bark. Impulsive and driven to satisfy their own desires.
Living Room (with food)

Pup makes no attempt to sniff at coffee tables or other food or drink at a low level.

Pup can be in a room with comfortable furniture or with child's toys at eye level with no attempt to act inappropriately but may look to human for reinforcement or reward for good choices.
Basic

Pup is in the beginning stages of learning how to in a room with comfortable furniture or with child's toys at eye level and needs help making good choices. Pup may be given his own "place" or be a given a toy to play with and may need reminders of which toys are theirs.
Primal

Pup may race about and jump on furniture or to take a toy and run. Very impulsive and works to engage humans in their "games".
Doors and departures

Pup waits politely at doors to be invited in or to be let out. No pushing for position or bolting.

Top Dog/GEB U ready

Pup automatically waits at doors to be invited to move on or to enter. Pup does not push to be the first out the door even when excited. People can sit politely while other enter.
Good dog

Pup waits at doors to be invited to move on or to enter with direction or a shift into "working" mode. Pup sometimes pushes to be the first out the door when excited, but quickly recovers with reminders or rework. Pup may need to extra distance to stay in a sit for incoming people.
Basic

Pup is in the beginning stages of learning to wait at doors to be invited to move on or to enter. Pup needs reminders, small steps or time to work this process. Very difficult when pup is excited. Pup may need to be lured to stay seated unless at quite a distance from incoming people.
Primal

Pup races and barks at doors and pushes to bolt out. Very impulsive with barking, jumping at any people coming and going.
Excitement continues for quite a time after new comers have entered.
