Class Participation 
This rubric will be used to evaluate how a student works and participates during activities (work, class, meeting, assembly, etc.). I have purposely weighted each criteria this way as I believe this rubric will be fairer to the lower level students that are trying to participate rather than those that are largely unresponsive in class - Fair = 3 and Poor = 1

-may claim throughout the day that materials are missing, needs sharpener, etc.

-comes to school unprepared (i.e. never has pencils, homework, important notes etc.)
-has to borrow materials from teacher OR may claim throughout the day that pencils need sharpening or that he/she forgot materials
-causes distractions by walking around the classroom, talking, making noises, playing with things in desk and repeatedly getting up for no reason
-frequently gets out of seat throughout the day to get materials from bookbag, sharpen or borrow pencils
-does not get wo
