Student uses sufficient audio/visual aids and most relate to topic and presentation.

Students use minimal audio/visual aids and/or aids do not relate to the topic or detracts from the content.

Presentation Skills

Very Good

Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation. Student uses eye contact, is dressed appropriately. Non verbal communications are effective.
Good

Student's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.
Fair

Student's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation. Some non verbals are distracting or student is stiff (uncomfortable).
Poor

Student mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.
Book Selection

Very Good

Book selected was appropriate for the assignment. Student related the topic to health and was able to identify the health relationship to an individual, to the US and/or to a Global Health issue.
Good

Book selected was appropriate yet student was unable to link the book to a health issue from an individual, US or Global standpoint.

Book selected was minimally related to a health issue and/or student was unable to effectively speak to the relationship to individual, US or Global Health.
