Required Elements	Accomplished Student has included the required elements: 2 interviews 3 movie clips photos (with good resolution) Title pages Credits (all sources documented) One chart or graph (with good resolution)	Proficient Student has included most or all elements and most or all have good resolution. Special Effects	Accomplished Clips, sound effects, and images create a distinct atmosphere or tone that matches different parts of the story. Special effects are appropriate. The choice of music fits the sort line and helps the audience really "get into" the story.	Proficient Clips, sound effects, and images match the different parts of the story, but placement is sometimes confusing. Special effects are somewhat appropriate. Below Standard The student's documentary doesn't appear to follow a clear organizational plan.
Mechanics	Accomplished Spelling, punctuation, and sentence mechanics used on title pages and within the video itself are extremely well-done.	Proficient Spelling, punctuation, and sentence mechanics are acceptable with the exception of a few errors.	Below Standard Writing mechanics are unacceptable; spelling, punctuation, and sentences are full of errors.
