Compare/Contrast Essay: Book to movie - THE JUNGLE BOOK
The purpose of this rubric is to allow students to know what the expectations are for writing a comparing/contrasting essay encompasses. The students will compare and contrast the book How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Suess to the movie version. In preparation for this assignment, the student will have had instruction in the writing process, sentence structure, capitalization, end marks, read the book and viewed the movie. Students will also have had instruction using technology i.e., word processing.
